ROLES

  1. FOUNDATIONS – Maintaining the basis of ECON+.

1.1.   Partnership management

Structure_2013

Work on partnership strategy, finding new partnerships as well as maintaining existing ones. These partnerships will be namely: academic, data, policy and with social movements

1.2.   Fundraising

Find and apply for funding opportunities and maintain relations with current funding partners.

1.3.   Marketing

Work on the central marketing of ECON+.

1.4.   Communication
Maintain communication of events, changes, news to team, members and external interested parties. E.g. newsletter, website, social media, press releases

1.5.   Finance (treasury)
Managing ECON+ finances.

1.6.   Expertise management
Managing a network of experts both finding related experts and maintain relations with them.

2. CONNECT – Creating and animating a global community.

2.1.   Community animation
Look after the administration of the network. This includes facilitating exchange for members working or interested in a specific problem/question, updating member information and facilitating ambassadors globally and helping with expansion.

2.2.   Social Network
Engage with the network through social media. Work closely with communications.

2.3.   Ambassador
Promote ECON+ to potential members.

2.4.   Events’ organiser*
Organise monthly drinks and other events for the ECON+ network.

  1. DISCUSS –  Facilitating quality debate.

3.1.   Writer (articles)

3.2.   Editor (articles)
Editing articles written for ECON+.

3.3.   Conference organiser
Organise conferences on different themes, finding speakers, organising logistics, and  overseeing marketing and communication (working together with other teams).

3.4.   Researcher
Work on briefings and background research for different topics and events.

3.5.   Roundtable organiser*
Organise roundtables guided by central strategy on topics but also on up and coming opportunities. This would be a project management and potentially research role.

*Please note these roles are currently only for Paris. For those not based in Paris, interested in events and roundtables, we will establish these as we open new hubs.
